Cookie Policy

What cookies armbury.com uses, why, and how to manage them.

Effective date: May 19, 2026
Last updated: May 19, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how ARMBURY uses cookies and similar technologies on armbury.com (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, improve their performance, and provide analytics and personalization. Similar technologies — such as pixels, local storage, and SDKs — may serve the same purposes; "cookies" in this policy refers to all of them.

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary. Required to operate the Site — e.g., loading the search modal, remembering items in a cart, securing forms. These cookies cannot be turned off and do not store personally identifiable information beyond what is needed to operate the Site.

Performance and analytics. Help us understand how visitors use the Site (which pages are visited, how long, what is clicked, what errors occur). The data is aggregated and used to improve the Site. This may include tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar.

Functional. Remember choices you make (such as preferred language or region) and provide enhanced features.

Marketing. Used to deliver advertising more relevant to you and to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. We use these only where required consent has been obtained.

3. Specific Cookies in Use

Specific cookies and their providers may change over time. Representative cookies include:

  • cf_* — Cloudflare/Netlify security and bot detection (strictly necessary).
  • _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics, used to distinguish users (analytics).
  • armbury_consent — stores your cookie preferences (strictly necessary).
  • pagefind_search — internal search index session state (strictly necessary).

4. How to Manage Cookies

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can usually find these under "Privacy," "Security," or "Site settings." Blocking some cookies may impact your experience of the Site, particularly the cart and search features. You can also opt out of Google Analytics specifically using the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

5. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no consistent industry standard for how websites should respond. armbury.com does not currently respond differently to DNT signals; however, you can use the controls described above to limit non-essential cookies.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated on the Site.

7. Contact
